Product Review: Eastern Plastic Pedals

Here is my first product review. Eastern Plastic pedals. I got them just when the whole plastic pedal craze started. I wiped out once the day I put these pedals on. It wasn't even a huge slam. Just bailed out of a manual on flat ground and let go of the bike. The bike just fell on its side. As a result the axle bent slightly and it makes an annoying creaking sound every now and then. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I slip a pedal on a bunnyhop. This left a hole on my right shin. See pic below. These pedals fucking suck. I hate them so much. The surface area is small, the axle is shit, and the composite material is slippery as hell. I'll be getting some Odyssey plastics to replace these pieces of shit. I tried the Odysseys on a friend's bike and they rule.
